Weird Tempo Mess
I am in the middle of a finishing up a Pro Tools session when I noticed that my tempo was not keeping in time after adding more drum midi tracks. I then noticed a whole string of tempo changes on the top of the tempo section. I never set these very strange tempos that range from 19 bmp to 23 bmp etc. etc. (See attached photo)
When I deleted these tempo markings a very strange thing happens where any midi that was under those tempo markings goes super fast. I am using Superior drummer and when the tempo was showing the very strange 19 bmp etc. it still sounded like the rest of the session at 95 bpm. I am at a loss here and Avid tech support wasn't able to help me here. My best friend also experienced the same issue and luckily he had a cloud backup to go back to an exact copy he knew wasn't ruined. Any help would be appreciated. -Joe |

Re: Weird Tempo Mess
Have you tried setting all tracks to sample-based time and delete/adjust the tempo changes?

Re: Weird Tempo Mess
I will give that a shot.
I'm just wondering if this is related to dragging and dropping midi drums from Superior Drummer as this is exactly where the weird tempo stuff starting happening. |
