Default Copy Special Automation/Panorama , undocumented ?

PT 10 + CPTK

Hi,
Problem : copy EQ-Automation from one Clip on one Track to another Clip on the same Track (eg : Eqing out bad Resonance Frequencies from same Actor).

Yes , Edit - Copy Special - Plugin Automation , Yes, it is not greyed out because a Parameter of the EQ is shown in the Track View.
Then Option+Command+V on the desired next Clip. But i have to move the Mouse for the Edit-Menue.

When selecting Edit - Copy Special, 4 Possibilities show up :
Clip Gain , Control+Shift+C (Shortcut Hint)
All Automation , no Shortcut Hint
Panorama Automation , no Shortcut Hint
Plugin Automation , no Shortcut Hint

But : there IS a Shortcut for "Copy Special Plugin Automation" : Shift+Command+C
(found in the Forum)
It is not documented in the Shortcuts Guide, nor in the Reference Guide.
Proove me wrong (with Page Number), i looked Hours in the Documents.
So, if there is an undocumented Shortcut for "Copy Special Plugin Automation",
there could be one for
"All Automation" and
"Panorama".

Anybody knows ?

Note : i do have the German Language Version and it cannot be changed (unfortunately) to English, so maybe in a different Language Version the appropriate Shortcut Hint is diplayed in the Edit-Menue.

Thanks in Advance,
Joachim,
Munich

Not sure if I understand what you're asking.
You don't need copy special to copy/paste a static pug in-automation setting. You simply need:

command-shift-c (copy plugin automation)
command-shift-v (paste plugin automation)

The copy-special commands are for copy/pasting dynamic automation across a selection.

But the EQ-plugin window has to be open.

If you want to copy all automation use copy special all automation (there's no short cut for that unless you create your own in system prefs) then simply hit v to paste that to the selection on the other track.

You can download the language script from the support site to switch PT to english.

Unfortunately it's not mentioned in the manual.

Unless they have changed it in 10, You have to have the plugin (copy) open and plugin Paste open.

So if you want to copy an EQ from Ch1 to Channel two, you have to make sure the right plugins are open.

Maybe everyone knows that, just thought I'd add it.

Thanks Frank for the Hint for the Language Script from Support.

Command+Shift+C for Copy Plugin Automation is NOT mentioned anywhere in the Documents (like the Language Script), but should be.

And my other Question was : Shortcut for "Copy Pan Automation" ?

hm. command-shift-c/v has been around for years if not a decade so I never realized it's not in the manual.

The short-cut pdf has been notoriously incomplete. I hope one day they will update it.

If you open a plugin window go to presets. You'll see copy/paste settings and the short cut assigned to it.

Regarding your other question you can make your own short-cuts via the keyboard system prefs as I posted earlier. They will even show up in the menu once you created them.

Frank : THANK YOU !

- found Command+Shift+C in the Plugin-Window
- did the keyboard system prefs-Thing and was able to assign "Cliplist show/hide" a Shortcut

Many Greetings !
