WAV file difficulty
I'm recording some mono voice trax, and bouncing to disk in WAV format. When I attempt to play the WAV files using Windows Media Player v9, it unsucessfully attempts to download a proper codec. Any suggestions to rectify this annoying situation?

Re: WAV file difficulty
check the bitdepth of the file, and wether it is a mono or stereointerleaved file. I think WMP has trouble playing 24 bit files and/or mono files. Better bounce it to 16 bit 48 khz or 16 bit 44.1 khz stereo interleaved. Even a monofile, because - as you found out - WMP doesnt like monofiles.
