Midi edit window stuck to edit window

Hello, New to PT 11 and i've been trying to get the midi edit window to separate from the edit window as it used to do in PT 10. I have tried ctl = to know avail. I have also tried re-sizing and moving windows all about and no luck. Is there a setting I am not aware of here?

Are you on Windows?
What language is your OS set up to use?

EDIT: wait a minute... you must use Start + = if you're on Windows. Not Ctrl.

Hi, Thanks for the reply. Yes I am on windows 7 sp1. I work with a dual monitor setup and I am now convinced there is a glitch of some sort going on as I can re arrange windows and all of a sudden the midi edit window will come up as a floating screen, but the minute I minimize it or cycle it with ctrl = it re-attaches. I am familiar with all of the window commands and have tried them all several times. On PT 10 I used to just edit my midi and then minimize the window and it would sit happily in the lower left corner until I needed it again. Now when I minimize it re-attaches to the edit screen bottom and will not let go. This is beginning to feel like a dreaded re-install coming on.

You don't recycle it with Ctrl+=. Read above. You recycle it with Start+=.
