can't start, can't uninstall
I've installed PT8, then the 8.04 update. On startup it hangs with this message;
 The uninstaller doesn't work either, it just sits there after I hit the button to uninstall. I had previously had PT 8 installed and uninstalled it. Macbook 2.13 Core Duo 4G RAM 10.6.4 bb

In case anyone’s wondering, after deleting and installing PT repeatedly and trying everything I could think of, it still would hang at various points of the startup. Many times it would hang with the message I put in the earlier post, while creating "DAE prefs". So I just created a folder called "DAE prefs" in the preferences folder and after that it started right up.
