Default routing to mbox thru mixer question

is it ok to route thru a mixer and then into the m box? i bought a behringer ub1832FX pro and i'm getting noise from my XV2020...and somewhere else...i have left and right outs into the m box and then my keys, mike, drum pad and sound module thru the mixer...it eliminates having to plug in and out when switching instruments but is it kosher?

Sure..It makes patching things a lot easier. You can set the mixer channels that you use a lot, like Voice and guitar or whatever and leave them.So your not always screwing with cables and input levels etc.You can also return the outputs of the Mbox into the mixer, then into your power amp.As long as you don't get a feedback loop happening.
It sounds like your on top of it.I've always had my Mbox set up that way

You've probably got a bad cable or ground.I'll leave the Behringer question to those in the know. There's some online as we speak
