You're conflating the op and krsongs; krs was the one who found the remedy - we haven't heard back from the op since that original post.

Hi everyone,
Just wanted to mention that I have noticed on a few occasions when updating, that my waves license has been moved from my external USB stick to the main drive.
I did not ask for it to do it and it got me a couple of times when I travelled and couldn't load a session whilst working in a hotel. Fortunately I was able to login to my studio computer via Remote Desktop and move the license to the cloud, from which I could download it to my USB stick again.
When using WLC watch carefully and when you see " moving licenses" it may well be doing exactly that, as it has done it to me several times whilst upgrading Mercury over the last several months.

Rinky you may want to check your licensing in Waves Central. I, like you have a TON of Waves and never had this problem either.
My one plugin (CLA Mixdown) has "Full License" but the icon is Wave's ("W") icon, not the typical screen shot thumbnail of the plugin.

Hello! I haven't personally had this issue, but after reading through all the posts until now, I haven't seen what I read recently (I don't remember where) someone who had a similar issue, had to hit SYNC in the Waves app and it fixed his issues. Worth a shot.

Solved! I spoke with tech support. Long story short, he had me uninstall all my Waves plugin via Waves Central and reinstalled them. The invisible plugin finally made its appearance in PT!
Now back to music...

Yes I just did that.

Yes I did purchase directly through Waves (always do.) They have sort of a web you must navigate through to download and register; other plugin mfgrs make it so damn easy.

But two other fellows on this thread had recent Waves/PT problems just like me.

Yes you are correct.

But I have a TON of Waves plugs and NEVER had this problem. I was reinstalling and licensing for days... always to my HD.

But NOW I can see the sequence where I made a mistake.
