.. i use VST Connect here from Steinberg .. i have a standard Cable Modem and it seems to work just fine .. the PT Cloud will be the same thing .. NO JAmming online .. that is a few years off yet .. too much latency .. it is a good way to get other people on to your recordings from other cities and countries .. but not jamming LIve with anyone on the internet .. no way ..

It's paradigm is a little different from Pro Tools, but not much. Pro Tools is a software version of an old style tape deck stuck to a console. Studio One is a bit more abstract. There is a free version. However, I'm not sure how crippled it is. It also comes with about 80 gig of samples, loops, soundsets, and yes, the Big Fish Loops are all free.
