Default Volume automation question

Hello there. I'm curious how to delete and reset automation.

Okay, so I have a song where all the tracks fades out. No problem, I know how to do that. Select ALL, volume, and so on...
However, I have one track where I would like to erase the volume automation. I select the entire track (while set to Volume) and hit delete. Then I change the automation on just that one track. As all of the other tracks are fading out, I set the other one to fade in. Visually it seems to work (it goes from negative whatever to 12), but sonically the volume is still fading out.

Any suggestions as to what I can do? I can turn the volume down track by track, buuuut... you know. I'd like to learn something.

Is your master track fading out? If yes, that's the issue. If no, I'm as confused as you Make doubly sure that all tracks are assigned to the correct output path(and not a bus that has the same name). Yes, I have had this happen to me. Run a bounce and the final is missing something that I clearly HEARD during the bounce

He's right.
If you selected "All", the master or any other aux's you have are also fading out.

albee1952 Lets just pretend this conversation never happened. Haha!

No, seriously, thank you. I swear all of my PT problems are as simple as this. The equivalent of you mom saying to you, "Did you even look in the fridge before you came to ask me?"
