Default Please help?

I have just updated from pro tools le7.2 to 8.3le and keep getting the message:
plug ins were made inactive because they could not be found in plug-ins folder. 4-band EQ II (3) and limiter (8)

i had LE 7.2 on tiger originally, but when updating to snow had to uninstall pro tools le 7.2 as it didn't work on snow leopard..

so after upgrading to snow leopard 10.6.3 i installed le 7.2 first then without opening it, updated straight away to 8.3 le, could that have effected it?

I have cheeked the unused plug-ins folder but they not in there?...

could they have got deleted some how?
should i uninstall pro tools then re install it all 7.2le first then update to le 8.3?

does anyone else had this problem or know how to sort this out.

thanks so much for your help and time

JD

You should (clean) uninstall any older version of PT before installing PT8. Do not install 7.2 first. The PT8 is a full installer..

EQ II is no longer delivered with PT. EQ III will be the new version, so you'll have to change all of your sessions that have EQ II installed.
