Throw in a Sandra report for good measure, although I seriously doubt the problem exists there.

(NI) Native Instruments? I really do not know about the NI software you have or your set up but I do know that I have the Free Kore Player and Kontakt Player and both are unstable in any Pro Tools session I have ever tried to use them in so I just dont use them. I do use them stand alone when I want to jam but I never load them into a Pro Tools session. Just My Two Cents.

How long ago did you try these? The very latest versions have many improvements that, from what I'm reading and in our testing, work much better.

Are you installing the latest updates for those, using Service Center? Can you tell me the exact version number of those plug-ins you have installed?

Have you contacted NI about this at all? If so, I can talk to them about the case and see if we can figure out what's going wrong.

Access violations usually occur due to having old/incompatible or unauthorized plug-ins installed. The error may occur with other plug-ins, other than the old/incompatible/unauthorized ones - I would make sure you have ONLY compatible ones installed.

If you can zip up your Log Files folder (inside your Pro Tools folder) and email it to me at: vi [at] digidesign [dot] com, I'll take a look at it and see if anything there gives us a clue as to what may be going wrong.
