Audio handles on AudioSuite render get greyed out!

Hello, I have noticed something about Audio Suite
I want to audiosuite render a bunch of clips but I don't want to consolidate, so I choose in the audiosuite settings "create individual files" instead of "create continuous file". When I select "create individual files" all the options for audio handles (such as the number of seconds or the whole file) get greyed out for some plugins. But I need handles.
For example:
It works ok with plugins such as: EQ3 7-Band
But it doesn't work with plugins such as: Gain, Channel Strip

What is the issue here?

Those other two with the greyed out are set to "entire selection" and they need to be set to "clip by clip" like the first one.

(And you can't use "multi-input mode" -- it will auto switch -- when in "clip by clip" for the channel strip. But you aren't actually using it anyway so it probably isn't a big deal)
