Re: Resetting my PC - will I lose PT 2018?
There's a free version of Macrium Reflect. The paid version adds email notification, deploy to dissimilar hardware and Ransomware protection of the images. Well worth the money. PM me if you need help setting it up. Once it's set up properly, it's a matter of clicking an Icon to make an image.

Re: Resetting my PC - will I lose PT 2018?
I checked online for the Macrium reflect and noticed there were many different versions. Which one do you recommend to do an adequate job? With the home edition, will it be fine for backing up everything on my system, including all programs? I was told by a friend, that they didn't think the home edition backs up other programs, only Windows? Will the home edition backup everything in my system per hard drive? I could easily update acronis from an old version I have to the new 2019 True Image for 15 bucks but if macrium is easier and the $69 version would be good, I would probably just do that.

Re: Resetting my PC - will I lose PT 2018?
I use the Home version. The image Macrium makes is a complete snapshot of the drive you're imaging. think of it as a clone, but it's a file. You can remove the imaged drive, put in a new one and bring that image back to the new drive and it's the same as the old drive. You can use Macrium to only back up folders, but I use it to backup my OS and session drives completely.

Re: Resetting my PC - will I lose PT 2018?
Thanks so much for all that information about Macrium Rleflect. Looks like today is the day I will scrub my system and then load Pro Tools 2018 back in. I went to Best Buy last night to look for Macrium Reflect, but it looks like they do not stock it so I guess I will be going to Amazon, to get it. Thanks again for all this information, it was quite helpful. Andy
