Free Plug-Ins

I know that there are some free Plug-ins out there but I am having trouble finding them. Does anybody know where I can find some.

OK, i'll do a summary of the Pluggo "free" path for OSX, sort of a thread summary :

First of all, install "Pluggo 3.1.2 runtime installer for Mac OS X (updated 12 February 2004)" from
http://www.cycling74.com/products/dlpluggo.html

This will install various files on your computer, including a "Pluggo-RTAS" file in :
Library - Application Support - Digidesign - Plug-ins (where your standard Protools plug-ins live)

As mentioned, it will also create a folder called "Pluggo" in Library - audio - plug-ins - VST.

Download the free pluggos from the links below, and put them into that Pluggo folder.

You will then be able to insert 50-60 instruments/FX into either audio tracks or auxiliary tracks in Protools.

* Some of these are still OS9 pluggos.

* You should read through this thread again to see which of these OS9 ones will still work under OSX

* Some of the OS9 ones need to be dragged onto the "Plugmaker" app in order to work in OSX. You will find it in Applications - Pluggo Applications - Plugmaker

You need to join the yahoo group to get this one , Victor Cerullo's VET-1 synth in the Files section : 'VET1_Pluggo_Synth_21.sit'
