Until you realize you've missed a bad edit in the middle of a complex section and have to re-edit the underlying audio. Oh, now I have to reload into the plug??? What? Melodyne can't do a proper butt edit inside the plug causing a glitch so I have to basically reload the entire section and retune?? no thanks.

That is true if you do happen to miss a lot of edits in your everyday workflow and you work on large segments all at once. To each his own but I tend not to pick a tool based on fear of my own, and I know that we all make them, mistakes.

Melodyne is my goto for most things, but just more recently, I have been using WavesTuneLite on voiceover work. It is really quick and easy for changing voiced inflections. ie pitching syllables to change their intent!

The mistake is in Melodynes inability to add/subtract from its timeline without glitches. Surely, we expect modern tools to be able to perform such rudimentary functions right?
