Default Sierra 10.12.1 safe with PT 12.6 ???
Hi I am on El Capitan and wanna upgrade to Sierra. I see on Avid's compatibility page that it works fine with 10.12 but can anyone confirm the same is true for 10.12.1?
Are there any issues I should know about of Sierra with PT 12.6?

be aware some of your plugins or other programs might not be Sierra Ready yet ..

Clean installing OS, PT, plugins... takes a lot of time :)

Is clean install necessary? I just did it with El Capitan not too long ago and don't wanna redo it. Updating is not recommended?

Updating is never recommended. It might work, but your mileage may vary
