Default Will Windows 7 CD Upgrade Both My Installs On Single Laptop?

I will be upgrading my laptop XP install to Windows 7 so that I can upgrade PT from 8.0.1 to PT9. I have a dual boot system, with the Pro Tools install on its own partition.

My question is, will I be able to upgrade both my XP installs (the Pro Tools partition, and the general use partition) from the single Windows 7 upgrade CD?

Check with MS, but probably no.

However, they do offer a Home Premium Family Pack that allows you to upgrade up to three computers. I believe it's only about $20 more than the "single" upgrade.

I do not work for Avid (their loss)...my only relationship with Avid is that of a customer (when I'm not too poor to buy stuff, like now)...and that hot administrative assistant...that's more of a "thing" than a "relationship" (that should keep them guessing for a while...)

Just rockin'...what more is there?

Yes. Since you are dual booting on the same machine, MS will always see it as a single installation.
