Default Time compresion expansion

What's up first post. I am using pro tools 6.2.2 and when I use TCE the waveform becomes almost nonexistant, also is there a way to fine tune the BPM's. For instance I am going from 77 BPMs to 75 BPMs but using the ratio it will only go to 75.012 or 73. something. I'm trying to match tempos between two audio regions. Any help is appriciated thanks, peace

If you want to input exact numbers, then use the AudioSuite Time Shift plug-in. It will allow you to type in the desired length time or tempo.

Time shift is not compatible with PT 6. If I were you I would match it up by samples. Highlight the region that would be the source region. Switch your time ruler in PT to show samples, and look at the length. That is what you want your destination to be in the plug-in. In other words thats what you want the plug to expand or compress to by sample length. Go ahead and highlight the region that you want to expand or compress and type in that sample number into the destination of the plug-in, make sure you hit return so that it locks the number in and the field turns green and doesn't stay white, and then hit process. It should make that the same sample length as your source region.
