Default Projector suggestion

Hi all, I am trying to buy a projector today during boxing day sales.

I will be feeding it via HDMI from the blackmagic intensity.

Will a 1024 x 768 resolution be sufficient? I am only working with sound but like to see a nice quality picture and so do my clients. Currently we use apple pro res 442 in 720p as that is the best I can throw onto my 40" samsung. I will be working in a room that is roughly 32 x 11 and seated about 30% back from the front of the room due to the narrow width.

Any advice is greatly appreciated as I would like to grab something today since there are so many discounted models available.

Thanks and happy holidays!

that's a good site but I can not recommend the Panasonic AE4000 enough if it fits your room

#5 on the list is the Panasonic. It is the list's 2009 winner.

I remember an older post where Dr.Sound mentioned that one should be aware of bigger sync issues with DLP projectors. Just a heads up!
Ive been recommended this one:

Think its called tw3200 here in Eu.

Best wishes,

Mikkel

Thank you I will consider this model! What sync issues would you be speaking of? I currently have a 21 quarter frame offset in Pro Tools using my Blackmagic intensity and feeding an HDMI splitter and two full HD screens. I assume that it would simply be a matter of calibrating the same way with a projector. Are some models inducing too much delay to function?

Cheers
