Default Audio Reverse

Maybe this is a function that we missed in PT, but is there a way to flip/reverse audio in PT? Sounds like it should be a very simple thing. If not, is there a plugin or utility or something else? We need a way to reverse and audio chunk and have it appear as just another file wav in the track.

Should be in the AudioSuite pull-down

Highlite the target area and click "go".

Voila... "Nit, nit nerrr... nit, nit nerrr..."

Yes Reverse in AudioSuite will do the trick. However it would be very cool to click on a button that will make PT "PLAY" in reverse. I think PT and 5.x.x. with a USD will do this. One can still accomplish the pre reverb effect of flipping the multitrack tape (analog) by using audiosuite, it's just a little more tedious than if one could play the pt session in reverse and record the reverb in the right place prior to lets say drum hits or whatever. Can you play/rec a PT session in realtime reverse with OSX or HD. Probably in HD this can be accomplished. If not digi ought to implement this nifty feature. *Along with VSO. <homebelly>

I do this by reversing the region i need,,record the reverb to another track,,get rid of the reversed region,,and replace with the original,,reverse the reverb track and slip it to the begining of the first region,,you also may want to zoom into the begining of the reverb and cut of any pre roll or latency that was recorded.
I would love to see a way of having a whole PT session play and record backwards,,also a way of slowing the session down or speeding it up to record over also,,like you can do with a reel to reel deck,,a kind of variac deal that isn't set to 1/2 speed or 1/4 speed,,somthing a bit more abstract so you can get all that Jimi Hendrix/Eddie Kramer ELECTRIC LADY LAND [bleep] going on,,you can kinda fake it using the TC/E tool and the pitch shift plugs,,but,,

Well you can "play" PT in reverse. If memory serves, I think you just hold down the control key and use the numeric keypad part of your keyboard. Hit the "+" key to go forward and the "-" key to play it backwards. The number 1 is the slowest and 9 is the fastest.

Well actually I was standing in front of a mirror when I said that, so it seemed like it had all been converted back. My bad... sorry.
