Perfect system? Pentium IV 150GHz...
I'm not too nuts and bolts oriented, perhaps the kind of person that should just buy an all-together name brand PC for bigger bucks and get on with it.
BUT, if I were to build my own, WHAT ARE THE "PERFECT" COMPONENTS? Is it pretty easy to snap 'em all together or am I going to have to tinker over dip switches, jumper cables, and IRQs? Seriously considering an IBM IntelliStation at the moment. Thanks, rscook |

Re: Perfect system? Pentium IV 150GHz...
Why don't you check out one of the smaller computer stores. Here in Vancouver, there are at least 30-40 little stores that build systems to your specs and charge about $500-$1000 less then the "brand name" PC's. It works great if you don't care about getting office2000 and all the other crap that they throw in with a department store or mail order PC.
