Re: Fender Mustang Amp With Pro Tools 9?
Haha, you beat me to it. I've been looking around on their site and noticed the same points as you've mentioned.
"While your Mustang™ amplifier can output audio through USB, it cannot receive audio input through USB. Therefore, output from any audio app, including AmpliTube Fender LE, must be handled by an external source. This source can be your computer's soundcard or audio interface and speakers." http://www.fender.com/support/articl...g-and-playback I've noticed that the OP has asked his question on the Fender forum as well, so if he can't get an answer there I guess someone is going to have to bite the bullet and just give it a go with PT9. @21placebo, do you know anyone with PT9 that you could go to and plug your amp into their system to see if it works?

Windows users need to provide a Sandra report - Please - Use SiSoftware's Sandra Lite application to generate a full system profile: www.sisoftware.co.uk Under SiSoftware Sandra, click on "Download & Buy" to download the free Sandra Lite version or purchase other versions. After installing Sandra, click on the 'Hardware' tab and run the 'Computer Overview', then copy and paste into your post here on the DUC. I'm guessing that with ASIO it should work but no guarantees though. Have you had any luck with getting an answer on the Fender forum?

Re: Fender Mustang Amp With Pro Tools 9?
Yes, does the Mustang work as an audio interface itself. I want to use the effects on the mustang. So I don't want to buy a separate interface. Thanks for the replies. I really wanna get recording with this thing. :)

Re: Fender Mustang Amp With Pro Tools 9?
I see this is an old thread, but I got my Mustang I to work with PT 9 on my Macbook Pro. I set up an aggregate audio device with the Mustang as the input and the laptop's output as the output. Seemed to work for me.
I had tried to run the Mustang with my VRM box as the output but it wasn't playing nice (may have been the usb hub, though {stooooopid iLok}). |

Re: Fender Mustang Amp With Pro Tools 9?
So, after trying it for a while, it seems that the audio gets all garbled and useless after about 5 minutes. So much for that idea. Restarting the amp and Pro Tools seems to help, but if you can't get through your recording quick enough, that's not much help. Curses...
