We are looking into getting a new set of hard drives (I run two 9GB Glyphs right now - which are starting to run out fast @ 24 bit...). Can you explain more about the record lag with HFS+ and the "fix" you mention? Do you have to designate "I am going to record for 5 minutes"? That's a pain, since we are doing dialog work and a team could go for 25 minutes without pause or for 10 seconds and need to take a break... While I'm at it, what is the best drive to get right now? I won't need it desperately till after 5.0 is out (assuming it arrives ontime), so would hfs+ be best? Thanks! -adam |
