Also, With PT6.4 you will need cs6 and cs9 installed.

As said, you NEED cs6 and cs9 to run with XP. If your computer has Vista, you need to purchase PT8. You need a separate hard drive for audio. USB drives are not supported.

First of all I appolige for my fellow DUC users rather impatient an somewhat insulting replys. You must understand we're all very busy here to do all the work for newbee's. YOu need to read the "sticky" (at the top of the log in page" and follow the link that Fastermouse sent you in order to Download the Sandra Report.

But just a couple of observations, No, 7.4.1 would not be too old, but secondly you will need a separate firewire hard-drive to write to. Install PT on your system drive and then name this external drive your Audio Drive and save your projects on this drive. I have a feeling this info may get you started. Good luck
