Default Boot drive, 001-- 6 tracks only

I'm expecting to get my 001 system within a week. While I have plans to get a dedicated audio IDE drive ASAP, I'm wondering what kinds of results I can expect to get off the boot-drive if I'll only be working with 6 tracks?

G4 350 MHz Sawtooth, 128 MB RAM.

Thanks a lot!
