Default RIP Sean Connery

I know we usually just mention musicians that have passed but I just had to pass this along - Sean Connery the first James Bond has died at age 90. He was more than the Bond character for sure.

RIP Sir Sean Connery

He will be sorely missed but anyone who lived to be 90 is blessed.

RIP Bond ...James Bond!

Yeah, I was sad when I read that as well.
My Grandpa and Walt Disney did an entire episode of Wonderful World of Color,
promoing the upcoming Darby O'Gill, which was Sean's first leading role.
(That was the only time Walt ever acted in WWOC).

Perhaps because of their shared UK background,
or more probably because they loved a good pint,
they became good drinking buddies from then on…

Shaken and stirred by the news
Martinis, out of respect, shall remain true to form
My word is my bond: thank you Sean, from us all
