PT 8 session won't open on 5.2.1
Hello,
I have a PT 8 session (created on a mac) that I'm trying to open on PT 5.2.1 also on a mac. I get the "Not A Valid Pro Tools Session" error message when I try to open it. The session file ends in .pts I am able to import the wave files to the session but the files are not time stamped so everything is out of sync. 5.2.1 doesn't have the import session option. Any suggestions? Thanks,

Pro Tools sessions are not arbitrarily backwards compatible. Did you save in 5.1 format? http://avid.force.com/pkb/articles/e...ility/en353093
My suggestion is stop using museumware. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
