Count me in. This is infuriating when editing dialog, and what's worse, I can't yet imagine a situation in which I'd actually want it to do that.

I mean, I'm sure there is one, I just don't ever seem to run across it.

I've found that if you open the app in Low Resolution Mode by getting info on the app bundle and checking the checkbox, it helps a lot with the GUI lag, but, come on, we're in 2019 now, we shouldn't have to do that.

Anyway I feel like that's nothing compared to the workflow lag caused by the re-appropriation of the command key while editing.

+1 for low Res mode, however running 2018.7 now and problem isn't really there anymore for me on Sierra, pt ultimate. it used to be really bad when I had a ton of playlists open for editing a lead.
