Hi,
I just purchased a conrol|24 and a digi 002r for home studio. I would like to have 24 dedicated inputs. What is the best way to increase my I/o without breaking the bank and creating syncing issues? Thanks!

002 and LE is limited to 18 inputs and outputs, you have 8 analogue on the 002! you can ad another 8 analogue i/o by using the adat pipe line connection, and buying an analogue to adat converter! Behringer make's a cheap one, Alesis make the A3 etc. then you have 2 more digital ins/outs as sp/dif which could be used if you buy a digital sp/dif to analogue converter, so 18, that's your lot.

Your C24 has 16 stand alone independant pre amps and line inputs, but these are NOT inputs into Pro tools!!! these are stand alone and have the 16 outputs on 25way D-connectors, which you will have to route into your 002 to get into pro tools.
