Command 8 & Mbox (does it work)?

i'm just wondering if an Mbox would it work with a C8?

i don't see why not,
just wondering if there are any known issues etc....

i'll be using it for Mixing/DVD Authoring/Post (Avid Express Pro) most of the time
with the once in a while artist etc.... (no drums)
so i was just wondering if the 002R is just overkill for this
or the Latency is more prominent in the Mbox than in the 002R.

i'm thinking of buying Logic as well
plus a Motu or RME for Surround
since LE won't do Surround
just trying to save some $$$ and
have the best of both worlds at the same time.

what you guys think?
any recommendations?

Works fine so far. Just hooked up my mbox with the C8 three days ago. So far, no problems at all. Go for it.

anyone have a comment about the integration of Logic into this
i really need to know so i can buy the whole package
although i'm wondering into setting up a Bose surround system for Logic & PT
with an SPL or Big Knob or something

Stereo = PT
Surround = Logic

what you guys think?

I have the Mbox and Command 8. I can't get the thing to record. Could you explain the setup, cabling etc necessary to make this work?
