Interface? Which one?

Default your io.

Set input and output on that audio track

Master fader set output

Enable record

Plugin your gtr to interface

Turn gain up on interface, turn gtr up.

Turn monitors up

Should have sound

yes I get signal to the track but none through the plug. The plug works fine as a standalone outside of pro tools.

My interface is an Audient id22. oops actually right now it's a behringer umc22 pos.
I don't know what you mean by set input and output on audio track , I believe I've done that properly.

Just to be sure I'm understood. I am trying to play my guitar through the sgear plugin while recording. Basically , I'm trying to record myself playing with a backing track , just to practice and critique my playing.
