Default Vista compatibility

Hello:

I just bought the mbox mini bundle. I want to know if this is compatible with
Windows Vista.

Thank you,

Default Re: Vista compatibility

Only if it came with Pro Tools 7.4. If it's brand new and came with an older version, you should be eligible for an upgrade to the current software version when you register.

But...

...even then there are limits. 7.4 is only "officially" compatible and supported with Vista Business 32-bit and Vista Ultimate 32-bit.

i know I'm probably the only person who can say this, but pro-tools is FULLY FUNCTIONAL in 64 bit (vista home premium), on my machine. i have no clue as to why this is, though. I'm just happy it does :)
it still has the limits of a 32 bit OS when it is running, but the point is that it runs.
