are they wav samples? those can be loaded directly. If they're akai or something, there are converters available, search google or download.com.

If they're some kind of Battery-specific file format you're probably out of luck.

PT 3.3.5? really?

yes, you can load them individually. tedious work, but can be done, as there are .wav files of the individual sounds on that CD. and the loop CD is in .wav (or audio, can't remember off 'top my head).

btw, you're gonna be waiting quite a while for battery... NI's date is set to october, but you know it won't be til november or december when it actually gets released.

The download is only VST. I spoke to ANgus at FXpansion and there is no other site. BTW - keep an eye out for BFD at FXpansion - it is being released on Monday. Its like a virtual drummer but alot more. BTW BFD stands for Big ... Drummer. I haven't figured out what the F is for.

Viktor,

As of now there is not an RTAS demo of DR008 available. I ended up just buying the program based on the praise and accolades it has received from many of the senior members of the DUC. I am awaiting an email from Angus telling me how I can download the Beta version. I will let you know how it works out.

As a side note, do you have access to anything like Acid Pro? You can demo the VST version of DR008 in that program or any other app that supports VSTi's. There might be a freeware program that you can download to at least play with the drums.

Hope this helps you in some way.....

Thank you much one more time, guys, for your assistance.
Yes I could give it a try with any Steinberg program, but my goal is to have drums into PT, this way you have room to change sound of drums just by replacing the kits, while if you import drums from another program as audio file you have the only way to build your mix around allready existing sound. It may look stupid, but I see things that way.Now I've got Acoustic drums with Sampletank and it pretty much covers my needs, but I'm looking forward to add DFH too.
Thanks again.
