the -6086 error
I have recently purchased a mbox for my pc. i was having some problems with getting it to work. But now it works farely well. except for when i try to play back things that i have tryed to record. i get the message, "The operating system held of interruptions for too long. If this occurs frequently, try increasing the H/W Buffer size in the play back engine panel (-6086). i have done all the things in the manual that it says to do for this problem. I have even been to the digidesign website and did the things that it also said to do for this problem. I just can't figure it out. do i need another hard drive? and if so what kind? do i need more ram? (if so how much?) would really appericate some help! I am running a dell Dim4700 Intel(R) pentium(R)4, 2.80 ghz 512mB of ram. Microsoft windows XP home edition verson 2002 service pack 2.
