Default Midi Cable Routing with External Gear

I just bought the 002 Rack, but I can't figure out how to route my midi cables.

Do I need to run a midi out of my computer into my 002r in order to sync all my gear?

Currently, I am successfully routing everything through my Triton Studio. I recorded my sequence in my Triton, and imported it into Pro Tools (6.1/XP).

I don't know what I have to do to play back my sequence I just imported into Pro Tools.

When I try and play it back, I switch my Trition to External control, and turn off local control.

I don't know how to interpret the I/O midi path.

I don't have any midi cables plugged into my 002r, I have everything running through the Computer/Trition/TurboPhatt/MS2000R - back into the computer and out the computer into the triton.

I have to get the 002 in there some how, but I have no idea.

Any help would greatly be appreciated.

DK
