Either way - would it be possible to get the video file you're seeing this with?

You can upload it using any free service (or whatever file storage service you prefer) and send the link to download it to me at : vi [at] digidesign [dot] com.

I haven't had time to look into this, but wanted to get a head start and having a file that will exhibit what you're seeing is the first place for me to start.

Thanks!
I sent one to you!!! Not that I ever heard anything back either.

Sorry to double quote you. But - in regular quicktime 10, as you move the mouse away from the QT screen the window around the screen vanishes.... Maybe you can call up that feature?

I solved my whitebar with an expensive PCIe card - sigh.....

I've used a zoom or underscan to fix the white bar.

I couldn't find the software I was thinking of, but here are a couple others that *should* work:

Tinkertool

"Disable title bar QuickTime X player"

QuicktimeX Preference Script

"Never show the titlebar"

Heh!

Yeah, I sent you one WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY back. So, WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY back the person checking the VI email box was slacking...

Maybe check the deleted items... Also known as the 'too hard basket'.

I see your emails and have posted in several threads about this - the remaining video stutter is an Apple issue. I don't see anything in the email exchange regarding the white bar at the top.

If I play any movie in any resolution in Quicktime fullscreen mode, there is no white bar, but in Pro Tools fullscreen mode there is a white bar, looks to me like a PT issue. I can choose overscan in my displays setup for my TV (hooked up as a second monitor via HDMI), to get rid of it, but tha also crops my picture a bit.

Do any of the utilities I mentioned above help at all?
