Default Does H8000FW work as Firewire Stream on LE/M-Powered

Apparently the Eventide engineers are working on a new plug-in for the H8000FW - an RTAS plug-in for the stream through firewire.

Here is a screenshot:



And is the 8000 good as a mastering tool as well? I heard its as good as strictly digital mastering can get... or is TC 6000 better for that?
