How to Remove Effects
Once a track has an effect such as reverb applied to it, is there any way to take it off? (besides undo)

Re: How to Remove Effects
Is it an effect that was applied with an Audiosuite plugin in Pro Tools? If so just search for the original unprocessed file and spot it back into the session, it will likely have the same file name as the processed file minus whatever tag was applied to it by the Audiosuite processing.
If you don't have the original unprocessed file you are out of luck. |

Re: How to Remove Effects
Not without something like Izotope rX (for reverb using the dereverb module). Anything else is nigh on impossible for us civilians (maybe the NSA has something that would work).

Re: How to Remove Effects
If the NSA has a plugin that can completely remove any trace of reverb from a processed track, please ask them when I will have my flying car

Re: How to Remove Effects
Try Zynaptiq Unveil. Only De-reverb plugin that has worked for me. And the only one that doesn't sound like a gate..
