You'll only see it as an option on on an Instument or Stereo Aux track.

Use it on a stereo instrument track. Its working dandy for me on Windows 7 64 bit.

In case you haven't resolved this yet, if you installed the 64-bit version of Addictive Drums, you will not see the plugin in ProTolls 10, because ProTools only 32-bit. You'll have to install the 32-bit version of AD.

Hey everyone. I'm still having issues!!!

I've followed all the advice in this thread and it still doesn't come up when you go to to multichannel plug-in -> Instrument .... nothing related to Addictive drums is listed! I've installed both versions (32bit and 64bit) plugins of Addictive drums.

I'm using Windows 7 64bit pro, with 16GB ram and i've installed both Pro Tools 10 and 11.

Any help?

Default Problems with Addictive Drums 2

Hello, Everyone.. I'm just joining this forum today.. I recently started slowly building my home studio.. I was introduced to addictive Drums by a good friend and was amazed at what he was doing with it.. So I bought AD and installed it.. i'm running Protools 8 LE on my Mac OS X.. and it has been wonderful the sounds i've gotten out of it.. It has really elevated my music.. Since I had recently bought AD after March 15 i was eligible to get Addictive Drums 2 for free.. My problem is that it is not showing up in protools like AD 1.. I know I installed it properly because I can open AD 2 independently and it works just fine. It would be nice if I could get it to show up in my drop down menu next to AD 1.. Can Anyone help?
So here is how I go about getting to AD I first create a Stereo track/ Multichannel plug-in I can see AD but not AD 2.. Can anyone help?

Addictive Drums 2 will not work in PT 8, because it is only compatible with PT10 or higher. This is stated in the compatibility/requirements page.

It may not be just protools 8. I had the same trouble with PT10. XLN Audio was less than helpful. I can open it up stand alone but can't find it in protools. AD1 works just fine and I can find it easily. XLN has no forum and they take a week to answer any questions and then the answer is only about half of what I need so then another week to get the next one and on and on. I used to like these guys....

You have I be in at least 10.3.6 to get AD2 to work. I have 10.3.9 installed and AD2 shows up just fine.
