On launching Pro Tools 11, message "Unable to locate hardware"

I have new PC. System details:
Windows 7 Ultimate, Processor: AMD Athlon x 4 750k Quad Core 3.4 GHz, installed RAM 16 GB, 64-bit OS, Audio card: Realtek High Definition Audio driver version 6.0.1.7106, Pro Tools 11.2 student version

I have newly installed Pro Tools 11.2 and downloaded the iLok.
On launching Pro Tools, this message pops up "Unable to locate hardware. Make sure your hardware is connected and turned on"
Other than my standard computer (info listed above), I don't have any hardware.
At this point, I'm unable to proceed.
Help.

You need an ASIO compatible audio interface to run Pro Tools or you can use a WDM compatible audio card/chipset in the computer with the ASIO4ALL software that wraps WDM drivers and make them ASIO compatible. This should be covered in the documentation.
