using computer speakers instead of mBox outs.....?

I have an Mbox I use with an eMac....I do not use the outputs on the back of the mbox for monitors., Instead I would like to use a set of regular computer monitors that I plug in the side of my emac(the same monitors that are used for playing my mp3's on itunes and cd's n stuff....

Just wondering if I can somehow change the output setting for Pro Tools so the sound would come out of my regular computer monitors instead of the outputs on the back of the mbox?....

No, you can't do that. But you could plug the computer speakers into the headphone output of the Mbox.

hmm...that seems so obvious now that you mention it...lol....thanks..

but I am very surprised theres not a way you can send the audio out of pro tools to the speakers on the computer by a setting in the software? Mbox is geared for people that are not doing a totally "pro" set up anyway and I would think that would include people using regular computer speakers instead of monitors?....
