Question Real Guitar 2L

A footnote about the compatibility of the Real Guitar 2L VST-Plug in:

It seems to suggest that an adapter is needed...is this correct?

• RTAS support is available in ProTools 6/7/8/9 via FXpansion's VST to RTAS adapter 1/2

thanks!!!!

Correct. As any VST and or AU only plug-in format a host/wrapper software adaptor is needed.
1. FXpansion √ but they are no longer developing past v 2.1 $100.00
2. Maschine √ $300.00 or so..
3. Bidule-VST √ $70.00 or free via rewire
4. VEP √ $250.00
5. Kore2 √ no longer developing
May be others.......

I've used #1, 3, 5 above with Ral GTR & Strat.

PT's HD10, OS 10.7.2, MP dual 6core, 12Gb HD3-Magma

Hi Detroit T!

Thank you for posting that great information! It's a shame that PT users have to accomodate all these other plug-ins etc.

How did you like the performance of Rel Gtr and Strat?

I'm looking at other Vst's that are compatible to RTAS....from reading other posts at other forums, the PT system crashes after installing FXpansion...so to remedy that, the user has to delete plug-ins...(first make a back up copy), then one by one re-install each plug-in to troubleshoot which one caused the crash...too much work!! :P

Do you have a website?

Take care...

I like it a fair amount.
A little off with the format vs. using it in other apps. But I must say.
Real Guitar via FX-VST Wrapper has not once crashed in V-HD10

BTW, I also use many others (Libs) as well as my own guitar.
