Finding My Own Posts . . . ? And ones I\'m following . . .
Hey - I know for sure that there's a way to view all the occasions that I've "chimed in" or started a topic . . . how do I find that again? That was really helpful.
Sometimes I just don't have enough time to sit here and figure out where they all went!! Thanks- Jhon

Click on MY PROFILE
» View/Update Profile « At the bottom of your profile page, you should see: "Profile last updated by _______" Click on that link to your user name profile, the way other users see it. Click on "View Recent Posts" in upper right. That will give you a list with links to all of your recent posts. That's a bit complicated, but an easier way is if you already are on a topic where you have posted. In that case, just click on the profile icon next to your user name on the topic page. (the face with a ? icon) That will show you the View Recent Posts link quicker. You can bookmark that link if you want, which will always show your most recent posts. You can add to favorites or add bookmark, or just drag that link to your bookmarks or desktop. For topics you are interested in, you can bookmark those as well, by holding your mouse down on the topic link and choosing "Add link to Favorites" or other bookmark method. One way that works fairly well is to simply drag a link on a page into your Favorites or Bookmarks folder. Another way to find your own posts is to do a Search on your Member Number, which can be found in your profile, or under your user name on your posts. There is a limit of 200 returned results, beginning with the oldest. If you want to view more recent, you need to choose 30 days or more recent options in the Search.

hmm, DIGI, when I seem to do this search, it only displays maybe the last 5 posts I have done, as if the rest we're deleted. Are they gone?

Have you tried it today?
I just checked your profile posting link and it shows 50 recent posts. Late last night I rebuilt the post histories because the listings did seem short, meaning the database has to be rebuilt. (that takes a couple of hours and shuts the board down while it is doing it, so we try to do that kind of maintenance during off-peak hours)

No havent tried it today, last time I tried it was about a week ago, I was looking for a certain post. But it seems to only recall back to Da Basstard Vacation from the board..

Re: Finding My Own Posts . . . ? And ones I\'m following . . .
The "View Recent Posts" is probably limited to the most recent 50 posts.
http://duc.digidesign.com/cgi-bin/ub...sts;u=00028304 Doing a "Search By Registered Member Number:" for just the forum we are in, choosing "Within Last 30 Days" brings up 74 posts for your Member Number. Search by "Any Date" for your # brings up 133 posts. The UBB software is limited to 200 search returns, and unfortunately starts with the earliest 200 rather than the most recent 200.

This post hasn't been updated in thirteen years. How do I see my own posts in the current forum version?
