Should I do a clean uninstall before upgrade?
I am using Protools 12.8.3 HD with 2HDX and 2 blue 192 I/O. If I want to upgrade to Ultimate, should I need to do a clean uninstall first? Will I have to reinstall all the plugins? Also, should I update those drivers for HDX and 192?

Re: Should I do a clean uninstall before upgrade?
I use Carbon Copy Cloner to clone the system drive. Then I rename my current PT version, and install the latest version of PT and drivers. No issues, and your plugins will be there.
