will blackmagic intensity pro ever be supported on windows??

This is probably a retoric question, however I'll give it a shot:

avid.com: 'Pro Tools 8 and higher supports playback of QuickTime movies via qualified Blackmagic Design video cards with all Pro Tools systems on Mac OS X. Windows systems are not supported at this time.'

however, according to http://www.blackmagic-design.com/products/intensity/ , quicktime seems to be evenly supported on both Mac os and Windows.

so, can someone please enlighten me on the level of irony in the 'at this time' part? Any hope Windows systems will be supported in the near future?
