Hi; Now I can't boot PT and get this message:
Could not complete your request because Assertion in "E:\ Code\ 238951\ ProTools\ AAE\ Source\ AAX\ CFicAAXWidget.cpp", line 994.

Deleted the prefs, but no help.

Hold down the N key when launching PT and choose your interface when the popup appears and see if that helps.

Thanks. Google is my friend and I got that answer thanks.
Of course, I reinstalled it and deleted the prefs.
Why can't the error message just say what to do?

Agree and as there are a LOT of 6101/9173/9093/20001 etc etc etc there should be a posted sticky atleast with an explanation and steps to solve them but that is just wishful thinking
