Default Master stereo fader problem

I have been getting this problem on 4.31, 4.32. PT 24. The master fader all of a sudden looses one side. To fix the problem I need to delete the Fader and open up a new one. Then during the mix I find it drops off again and the only way to fix it is once again, delete the master fader and repeat to process. I've deleted the preferences but it just keeps happening?
