Default T-Racks 5 Max - Really nice!

I happened to see that IKM was offering the T-Racks 5 Max at 1/2 price til June 1st. It was around midnight on the 31st of May, so I bit the bullet and got it for $249 instead of $499. I have to say it is really nice! I know its generally geared towards mastering, which i don't do often, but each of the modules work nicely as plugins as well.

I was especially surprised and pleased with the British Channel EQ. Its got a nice warm sound, and even small subtle moves can add a lot of clarity. I may be reaching for this one a lot!

The new Equal EQ offers up to 10 bands. Really nice too.

I'm just getting into all the different plugins that come with it, but so far, I'm really pleased.

I've had some of them for a while now such as the White 2A, or Black 76, and the Classic EQ, and the 4 CSR reverbs, which I've always liked and use often. But the added plugins and the ability to create your own chains within one rack is very nice. And, the new meters are very helpful as well.

If I'd discovered the deal sooner, I would have mentioned it here to alert anyone interested. But if such a deal comes round again, which it probably will, then take a look at it.

+1. I've got Total Studio 2 Max, which (I think) includes everything they make. The VI's & amp sims are good, too!

I didn't need all that. I hardly every use an amp sim, but I do have Amplitude and use it on those rare occasions when I need one.

New Total Studio 2 Max owner here. I got a load of products in the buy 1 get 10 free promotion last September so there's plenty to be getting into now.

I got the Opto compressor free a good while back. Been using that a lot lately. Really smooth sound. Really like a good few of the amp sims, stomps and such. Getting into the Lurssen console too. Also a few others.

Some of the plugins are not stellar. The same goes for my other bundles or manufacturers. I have a few from Waves and Plugin Alliance in the same camp but for what I paid for the IK stuff I'm well happy.

Stephen

I'm just getting started with it, as until the other day I did not have it. But, I can already tell its a great one.

I know what Stephen means that not every plugin is a winner, but that's the case with all bundles. However, I have to say with IKM's, there's way more there that are really good then are just okay.
