Off Topic - Just Curious - How old are you people ???

I'm 45. Started out with Session 8 (we called it crashin' 8). and Roland VS series recorders. Bought a Playwrite 2X CD burner and was never able to create a CD with it. Just love how things have matured in digital audio since then. I like to record local bands and orchestras to two track (minidisc or Masterlink) and sweeten 'em up Waves plug ins back home. I also fly commmercial jets for a living. The one I'm flying now has 140 separate computers (half intel based and half Motorola based) each with their own acronym. It's like I speak Klingon now [img]images/icons/wink.gif[/img]

24, been recording for a couple years now. First with cubase and now with Pro Tools LE. Played in a couple bands, but mostly just recording my own stuff now. I'm 35, from Sweden. Have been playing and recording off and on for 20 years as a hobby. Started with a portastudio and then went to 8-track tape, Atari etc. Sold it all and didn't look back for several years.

Was out of the "business" for 5 years but recently invested in a complete home studio based on Digi001, synths, outboard, analog 8-bus mixer. I use a lot of outboard equipment, and with the smallest buffer I can even insert outboard compressors without noticeable delay (most plugin compressors suck compared to hardware I'm afraid).
