apple has released 2 updates for snowleopard before digi has released a stable pt version for snow leopard.... loosing faith in digi....

It takes at least 2 OS patches before Pro Tools is qualified so it will be by the end of the month or the end of next year.

We were originally told it would be about 8 weeks from when Snow Leopard was released until PT would have compatibility. I bought my copy of SL on August 28, still have it and still have not installed it. It's been more than 8 weeks so I hope the Digi release is soon coming.

I'd love for Digi to give us a rough date (not something to quote you on) as to when we may see a compatability release for Snow Leopard. Before Thanksgiving? New Years? Next Christmas? "We're working on it" was ok for the first 10 weeks as it may take that long to get it going, now I think it's a realistic expectation to be given a rough time table.

That is one way to look at it. Then again, imagine if Snow Leopard actually worked out of the box and was not doing things like deleting user accounts and data if you logged into a guest account...

I rather wait more a real stable pt release. No need to hurry.
I understand that who just purchased a new mac, than there is no choice, but I am a happy pro tooler on leopard. Not even bothered by the prerelease. I had too much work to make some trouble.

It took forever for leopard to be officially qualified. Just be patient people! If they don't take the time to do their testing, your going to be all angry because it isn't stable.
